The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for managing communication and public outreach activities of the National Institute of Immunology. The role involves handling media relations, preparing press releases, and maintaining the public image of the institute. The candidate will manage official communications, coordinate with media agencies, and promote the institute’s research activities and achievements. Responsibilities include writing reports, preparing newsletters, organizing events, and handling public information dissemination. The PRO will also support internal communication, manage social and digital media content, and ensure effective communication between the institute and external stakeholders such as government bodies, media, and the public. This is a senior administrative role requiring strong communication, writing, and coordination skills, especially in a scientific/research environment.
Master’s Degree in any discipline (Science preferred) Strong command of English (written & verbal) Experience in Public Relations / Communication Minimum 5 years experience in relevant field (Govt/PSU/Institution) Knowledge of media handling & documentation Age Limit: Up to 56 years
