National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS) is inviting online applications for the post of Hindi Translator on a contract basis. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in translating official documents, reports, and communications from English to Hindi and vice versa, ensuring compliance with the Official Language (Rajbhasha) implementation policies. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Translate official documents, letters, press releases, and circulars from English to Hindi and vice versa. Maintain records, registers, and files related to the implementation of the Official Language. Assist in organizing Hindi workshops, training sessions, and Hindi Pakhwada events. Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and proper official terminology. 🔹 Job Type: Contract-Based
Master's Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject at the degree level (OR vice versa). Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa. Prior experience in translation work in a Central/State Govt office or reputed organization. Good typing speed in Hindi and English on computers. Age limit: As per NCESS / Government norms.
