National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS) invites online applications for the post of Field Assistant (Electrical) on a contract basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment at NCESS facilities and field stations. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical panels, wiring, and equipment. Assist in the electrical setup for various research projects and campus operations. Conduct routine inspections to ensure electrical safety and system efficiency. Troubleshoot electrical faults, prevent breakdowns, and perform preventive maintenance. 🔹 Job Type: Contract-Based
3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute/board. Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical-related works is highly desirable. Prior experience working in any State Govt. / PSU / Central Govt. institutions is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and maintenance protocols. Age limit: Maximum age 50 years (Age relaxation applicable as per Govt rules).
