Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) invites online applications for the recruitment of 22 Security Guards on a contract basis. The selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the university campus, students, staff, and institutional assets through regular patrolling and monitoring. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Maintain 24/7 surveillance and security of university premises and entry/exit points. Perform regular patrolling and monitor CCTV systems to prevent unauthorized access. Respond promptly to emergencies, fire alarms, or security breaches on campus. Maintain visitor logs and assist in traffic and parking management within the university. 🔹 Job Type: Contract-Based
Must have passed at least Class 7th (Matriculation preferred). Candidates must be Ex-Servicemen from Army/Navy/Air Force. Good physical health and fitness standards as per security norms. Prior experience in security services or industrial security is an advantage. Age limit: Maximum age 50-55 years (As per university/government rules for Ex-Servicemen).
