Spices Board is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Agronomy and Soil Science Division Trainees under Advertisement No. ADM/APP/03/2018-19/SRT. The selected candidates will undergo training in the field of spices research, focusing on soil analysis, crop management, and environmental science at the board's research facility in Idukki. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Assist in soil testing, analysis, and research related to spice crops. Monitor agronomic practices and maintain field research data. Support the scientific team in laboratory experiments and biochemistry analysis. Document research findings and assist in the general maintenance of the division's database.
M.Sc. in Agronomy / Soil Science / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Horticulture / Environmental Science. Minimum 55% marks in the qualifying Master's degree. Working knowledge of computers (MS Office, Data Entry) is highly desirable. Prior experience in a related research field or laboratory is an advantage. Age limit: Not more than 30 years (as on date of notification).
