National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram invites online applications for the post of Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, leading high-impact research projects, supervising Ph.D. scholars, and contributing to the institute's academic and administrative development. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Conduct high-quality lectures and laboratory sessions for Civil Engineering students. Supervise and mentor B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. research projects. Secure research grants and publish original research in reputed international journals. Assist in curriculum design, departmental administration, and institutional planning.
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a consistently good academic record. Minimum 6 years of experience in teaching/research/industry after Ph.D. At least 3 years of experience should be at the level of Assistant Professor (Level 12). Proven record of high-quality research publications and project supervision. Age limit: Preferably below 50 years (Age relaxation as per Govt. of India norms).
