National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram invites online applications for the post of Assistant Professor Grade-II (On Contract) in the Department of Chemistry (BS&HSS). The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate courses, conducting high-quality research, and contributing to the academic growth of the Basic Sciences department. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Deliver lectures and conduct practical laboratory sessions in Chemistry for engineering students. Initiate and lead independent research projects in specialized areas of Chemistry. Mentor and supervise students in their academic projects and research work. Assist in departmental administrative duties and curriculum development. 🔹 Job Type: Contract-Based
Ph.D. degree in Chemistry with a consistently good academic record. First Class (60% or 6.5 CGPA) in both Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Proven record of research publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals. Prior teaching or post-doctoral research experience is desirable. Age limit: Preferably below 35 years (Age relaxation as per Govt. of India norms).
