JIPMER, Puducherry invites applications for the post of Project Technical Support-III (Senior Laboratory Assistant) for a research project funded by ICMR/Extramural agencies. The selected candidate will be responsible for advanced laboratory testing, supervising junior lab staff, and ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI). 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Perform specialized laboratory investigations and molecular biology techniques. Oversee the maintenance and calibration of sophisticated laboratory equipment. Manage research data, maintain detailed logs, and assist in drafting research papers. Ensure compliance with bio-safety protocols and ethical guidelines during sample handling. 🔹 Job Type: Contract-Based
Three-year Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc.) or Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT). Minimum 3 years of relevant laboratory or research experience is mandatory. (OR) Master’s degree in relevant Science subject (M.Sc.) will be considered equivalent to experience. Prior experience in handling molecular techniques (PCR, ELISA) is highly desirable. Age limit: Maximum 35 years (Age relaxation as per ICMR/Govt. norms).
