Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot invites online applications for the post of Professor in various Pharmacy specializations. The selected candidate will lead the academic department, mentor Ph.D. scholars, conduct high-level research, and oversee the curriculum delivery as per Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) norms. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Provide academic leadership and manage departmental administrative tasks. Supervise undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research projects. Design and update the course curriculum in alignment with PCI and UGC guidelines. Publish research in high-impact journals and represent the university in scientific forums.
Ph.D. degree in the relevant Pharmacy specialization (e.g., Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology). First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm). Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching or research in a PCI recognized institution. At least 3 years of experience as an Associate Professor or equivalent is usually required. Must be registered as a Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council. Upper age limit: Maximum 50 years (as on 01.01.2026). Relaxation as per Punjab Govt. rules.
