Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar invites eligible Indian nationals for a Walk-in Interview for the positions of JRF/Project Associate/Project Staff. The positions are for a MoES-funded research project titled "An Underwater Wireless Charging System for AUVs with Integrated Near-Field Localization". This is a purely temporary role, initially for one year and extendable based on performance. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Work on the design and development of an underwater wireless charging system for AUVs. Conduct research experiments, simulations, and hardware implementation in the lab. Assist the Principal Investigator (Dr. Ashwani Sharma) in technical documentation and reporting. Manage project-specific data and coordinate with the Electrical Engineering department.
B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech/M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) in the qualifying degree. A valid GATE score is highly desired (candidates without GATE may receive a lower salary). Prior research or industrial experience in the relevant field is an added advantage.
