Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi invites online applications for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). The position is purely temporary and contractual for a research project titled "Development of Advanced Manufacturing Process for Aerospace Components". Selected candidates will work on high-end simulations and experimental setups in the Mechanical Engineering lab. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Conduct advanced research experiments and numerical simulations related to the project. Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in technical data collection and analysis. Prepare research papers, progress reports, and present findings in project meetings. Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate with other research scholars. 🔹 Job Type: Contractual
Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering with 60% marks. Minimum 2 years of research experience after completing the Master’s degree. Candidates must have a valid GATE score (mandatory for SRF position as per norms). Proficiency in simulation software like ANSYS, ABAQUS, or MATLAB is highly desirable. Age limit: Maximum 32 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Female as per Govt. rules).
