UP Bal Vikas Seva Evam Pushtahar Vibhag invites online applications for the recruitment of Anganwadi Workers in various districts of Uttar Pradesh. Selected candidates will be responsible for providing basic healthcare, pre-school education, and nutrition support to children (0-6 years) and pregnant/lactating women at the local Anganwadi centers. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Maintain records of children’s health and nutrition in the assigned ward/village. Organize immunization camps and health check-ups in coordination with ASHA workers. Provide non-formal pre-school education to young children. Distribute supplementary nutrition (Pushtahar) to beneficiaries under government schemes. 🔹 Job Type: Contractual / Honorarium based (UP Government)
Candidate must be a Female and a resident of the same Ward/Gram Panchayat where the vacancy exists. Minimum educational qualification is Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board. Selection will be purely on a Merit Basis (based on 12th marks). Candidate must have a valid residence certificate and income certificate for the application. Age limit: 18 to 35 years (as on 01.01.2026). Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.
