Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur invites online applications for the post of Project Technical Support-II. The selected candidate will provide technical assistance in laboratories, help in setting up experimental apparatus, and support the research team in data collection and hardware/software troubleshooting within the project framework. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and technical equipment. Assist research scholars in performing experiments and recording observations. Troubleshoot technical issues related to the project's hardware or software components. Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed and maintain an inventory of technical supplies. 🔹 Job Type: Contractual (Initially for 1 year, extendable based on project performance)
Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc.) or Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized University. (OR) 3-year Diploma in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant technical experience. Hands-on experience in laboratory techniques or technical maintenance is mandatory. Proficiency in computer applications and basic data analysis tools. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a research-intensive environment. Age limit: Maximum 30 - 35 years (Relaxation as per institute norms).
