Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) invites online applications for the recruitment of 2,759 Technical Assistants (Group-C) in the Agriculture Department. Selected candidates will work at the ground level to implement government agriculture schemes, assist farmers with technical knowledge, and monitor crop development and soil health across various districts of Uttar Pradesh. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance to farmers regarding seeds, fertilizers, and modern farming techniques. Implement and monitor state and central government agriculture welfare schemes. Conduct field visits, collect soil samples, and assist in crop cutting experiments. Maintain statistical data related to agricultural production in the assigned area.
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag) from a recognized University/Institute. (OR) B.Sc. in Horticulture / Forestry / B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering. Must have appeared in the UPSSSC PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) and possess a valid scorecard. Candidate must be a citizen of India and a resident of Uttar Pradesh for reservation benefits. Age limit: 21 to 40 years (as on 01.07.2026). Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per UP Govt. rules.
