Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites applications for the post of Research Associate. The position is purely temporary and contractual for a specific research project. The selected candidate will lead advanced research experiments, analyze complex data, and contribute to the high-quality research output of the institute. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Conduct independent research and experimental work as per the project objectives. Analyze data and prepare scientific manuscripts for publication in reputed journals. Mentor Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and Post-Graduate students in the lab. Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in project management and technical reporting. 🔹 Job Type: Contractual / Project-based
Ph.D. degree in a relevant branch of Science or Engineering from a recognized University. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the viva-voce may also be considered. A strong track record of publications in peer-reviewed (SCI) journals. Prior experience in the specific research area of the project is highly desirable. Proficiency in specialized simulation or analytical software related to the field. Age limit: Maximum 35–40 years (Relaxation as per Institute/Govt. rules).
