Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites online applications for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). This position is purely temporary and contractual for a specific research project under the SRIC department. The selected candidate will conduct high-level experimental research, assist the PI in technical data analysis, and manage specialized laboratory equipment. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Design and execute experiments related to the research project. Perform complex data analysis and simulations using specialized software. Prepare progress reports, technical presentations, and research papers for publications. Supervise and assist junior research scholars (JRF) in the laboratory. 🔹 Job Type: Contractual / Project-based
Post Graduate degree (M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc.) in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. A minimum of 2 years of research experience after completing the Post Graduate degree. Candidate must have a valid GATE / NET qualification (Mandatory for SRF level as per norms). Experience in handling advanced scientific instruments or simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS, etc.) is highly desirable. Age limit: Maximum 32–35 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Female as per Govt. rules).
