Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Ghaziabad invites offline applications for the post of Senior Safety Officer. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring occupational health and safety (OHS) protocols within the manufacturing unit. The role involves conducting safety audits, ensuring compliance with the Factories Act, and leading emergency response teams to maintain a zero-harm working environment. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive safety manuals and emergency evacuation plans. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and internal safety audits. Ensure 100% compliance with the Factories Act, 1948, and other environmental regulations. Organize safety training programs and mock drills for employees and contractors.
Full-time Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Production/Civil). Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety from a recognized University/Institution. Minimum 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in Industrial Safety (Preferably in a large manufacturing/PSU setup). Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards is highly desirable. Age limit: Maximum 32–35 years (as on 01.03.2026). Age relaxation for PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. rules.
