The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invites offline applications from eligible doctors for the post of Bank Medical Consultant on a purely contractual basis. Selected candidates will be responsible for providing medical consultancy services to RBI employees and their families during fixed hours at the Bank’s dispensaries. The contract is initially for 3 years, extendable based on performance. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Attend to patients at the Bank’s dispensary during specified working hours. Provide medical advice, primary treatment, and referrals for specialized care. Maintain medical records and ensure the availability of essential medicines. Assist the Bank in medical check-ups and health awareness initiatives for staff. 🔹 Job Type: Contractual (Initial 3 years, renewable)
MBBS degree from a recognized university in the Allopathic system of medicine. Candidate must be registered with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council. Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical practitioner in a hospital or clinic. Preference will be given to candidates residing within a reasonable distance from the RBI office/dispensary. Must have a personal clinic or access to one for emergency consultations if required. Age limit: No specific upper age limit mentioned, but physical fitness is required.
