Bihar State Cooperative Bank invites offline applications for the post of Social Mobilization Expert (State Head) on a contractual basis. The selected expert will lead the social mobilization strategies for state-wide cooperative projects, focus on empowering rural communities, and oversee the formation and strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Cooperative Societies across Bihar. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Design and implement the state-level framework for social mobilization and community participation. Lead and monitor district teams in organizing rural farmers and artisans into cooperative structures. Coordinate with government departments and NGOs for the effective delivery of social welfare schemes. Analyze project impact through field visits and prepare strategic reports for the Bank’s board and stakeholders. 🔹 Job Type: Contractual (Initially for 1 to 3 years, extendable based on project performance)
Full-time Post Graduate degree in Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, Sociology, or MBA in Rural Management. Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in social mobilization or large-scale community development projects. Proven track record of working with SHGs, FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations), or Cooperative models. Excellent leadership, communication, and networking skills with government agencies. Proficiency in Hindi and English; understanding of local Bihar dialects is an added advantage. Age limit: Maximum 45 - 55 years (Check official PDF for specific relaxation for retired professionals).
