CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) invites applications for the position of Project JRF. The selected candidates will work on a time-bound research project involving the development of marine chemicals, environmental monitoring, or analytical chemistry. This is a great opportunity for science graduates to gain experience in a premier national laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Conduct laboratory experiments and data collection as per project protocols. Analyze samples using sophisticated analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, ICP, etc.). Document research findings and assist in the preparation of project reports and manuscripts. Coordinate with the Principal Investigator for day-to-day research tasks.
M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Physical/Analytical) or Environmental Science with minimum 55% marks. Must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE. Candidates with experience in analytical techniques or water/marine research will be preferred. Strong aptitude for research and basic knowledge of laboratory safety.
