Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) invites online applications for the recruitment of 18 Veterinary Officers (Class-II). The selected officers will be responsible for the health management of livestock, implementing breeding programs, controlling animal diseases, and overseeing the operations of government veterinary dispensaries and hospitals across Gujarat. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Provide medical and surgical treatment to animals at government veterinary clinics. Conduct vaccination drives and disease surveillance programs (like Foot & Mouth Disease). Monitor and improve livestock breeding techniques and artificial insemination services. Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a recognized university. Must be registered with the Gujarat Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India. Basic knowledge of Computer Applications as per the Gujarat Civil Services Rules. Proficiency in Gujarati and Hindi languages is essential. Age limit: 21 to 35 years (as on the last date of application). Age relaxation for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/Women as per Gujarat Govt. norms.
