IIT Gandhinagar invites online applications for the position of Post Doctoral Fellow. This role is intended for researchers who have recently completed their Ph.D. and wish to pursue high-impact research in their field. The selected candidate will work closely with the faculty on cutting-edge research projects, publish in top-tier journals, and may assist in mentoring Ph.D. and Master’s students. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Conduct independent and collaborative research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI). Publish research findings in high-impact international journals and conferences. Design and execute experiments or qualitative/quantitative data analysis. Help in drafting research proposals for external funding agencies. 🔹 Job Type: Contractual / Project-based (Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance)
A Ph.D. degree from a recognized University/Institute in the relevant field (Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also be considered). Strong track record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals. Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a multi-disciplinary team. Experience in specialized software or laboratory techniques relevant to the project is desirable. Age limit: Maximum 35-40 years (Relaxation as per institute/project norms).
