Staff Selection Commission
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites online applications for Phase XIV Selection Posts. Unlike regular exams (CGL/CHSL), Selection Posts are specific vacancies in various govt. departments (like Botanical Survey of India, Archeological Survey, etc.). A candidate can apply for multiple posts if they meet the specific eligibility for each. This is a massive recruitment drive covering technical, non-technical, and clerical roles. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Vary significantly based on the post selected (e.g., Lab Assistant, Store Keeper, Data Entry Operator, Research Assistant). Regular office/field work as per the assigned Ministry's protocols. Maintaining records, technical reporting, or administrative coordination. 🔹 Selection Process: Computer Based Examination (CBT) - Separate exams for 10th, 12th, and Graduate levels. Skill Test (Typing/Data Entry/Computer Proficiency) - if applicable. Document Verification (DV) by the user departments.
Matric Level: Must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation) from a recognized board. Higher Secondary Level: Must have passed 12th Class (10+2) from a recognized board. Graduate Level: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (some posts require specific subjects like Physics/Chemistry/CS). Candidates must check the "Post Category Number" for specific experience requirements (if any). Age limit: 18 to 30 years (post-wise). Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. rules.
