The Territorial Army invites online applications from gainfully employed young citizens for the post of Officer. Unlike the Regular Army, TA is a "Citizens' Army" where you serve for a limited period every year. It is designed for professionals (Engineers, Doctors, Businessmen, etc.) who want to wear the uniform while continuing their current profession. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Leading a platoon/company during annual training camps or national emergencies. Assisting the regular army in static duties and coastal defense if called upon. Supporting civil administration during natural calamities and maintaining essential services. Candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University. Must be Gainfully Employed (Working in a Govt/Semi-Govt/Private sector or Self-Employed). Only Indian citizens (Male and Female) are eligible. Physical Standards: Must be physically and medically fit in all respects. Age limit: 18 to 42 years (as on the last date of application).
