The Depot Materials Superintendent (DMS) plays a vital role in the supply chain management of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works. This position is responsible for the procurement, storage, and distribution of raw materials and components required for locomotive production. As a departmental recruitment under GDCE, it offers an opportunity for existing railway staff to move into a supervisory role within the Stores Department. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Managing the receipt, inspection, and storage of technical stores and locomotive components. Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the security of high-value railway property. Coordinating with the production workshops to ensure timely supply of materials to avoid production delays.
