The Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) position at CLW Railway Schools is a senior teaching role responsible for educating students at the Senior Secondary level (Class 11 & 12). Under the GDCE scheme, this recruitment allows eligible regular railway employees with the necessary academic qualifications to transition into the teaching cadre. The role involves academic instruction, curriculum planning, and contributing to the overall development of students within the Railway school system. 🔬 Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality lectures and specialized instruction in the respective subject for senior secondary classes. Preparing students for board examinations and conducting regular internal assessments and practicals. Developing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies to improve student learning outcomes. Participating in school administrative duties, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher meetings. 🔹 Selection Process: Written Examination / Computer Based Test (CBT) Professional Ability Test / Interview (As per Railway Board teaching norms) Document Verification and Medical Examination
Candidate must be a Regular Serving Employee of CLW with a minimum of 2 years of service. Master’s Degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institute. Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English media. RPF/RPSF personnel are NOT eligible to apply for this departmental examination. Age limit: UR 42 years, OBC 45 years, and SC/ST 47 years (as on 09.04.2026).
