Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) invites online applications for the recruitment of Trade Instructors for various Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Bihar. This recruitment is specifically for candidates holding a Degree or Diploma in Engineering. The role involves providing vocational training, managing laboratory workshops, and preparing students for technical trades in line with the NCVT curriculum. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Delivering theoretical and practical training to ITI students in specific trades (e.g., Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic, etc.). Maintaining workshop machinery, tools, and equipment in functional condition. Preparing lesson plans, conducting internal assessments, and monitoring student progress. Guiding students for industrial visits and ensuring safety protocols in the workshop. Selection Process: * Computer Based Test (CBT) Merit list based on CBT scores, Academic qualifications, and Experience Document Verification.
Four-year Degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Three-year Diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering. Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience (Teaching or Industry) is mandatory. CITS (Craft Instructor Training Scheme) certificate is highly desirable and carries extra weightage in selection. Proficiency in Hindi and the ability to explain technical concepts to vocational students. Age limit: 21 to 37 years (Male) | 21 to 40 years (Female). (Relaxation for BC/EBC/SC/ST as per Bihar Govt rules).
