The College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi, is conducting a Walk-in Interview for the recruitment of Research Associates and Field Investigators. These positions are purely temporary and tied to a specific research project funded by the ICSSR. The project focuses on socio-economic or vocational themes, and the selected candidates will be responsible for data collection, literature review, and assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) in drafting research reports and analyzing field data. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Research Associate: Designing research instruments, conducting advanced data analysis (using SPSS/R/STATA), and drafting research papers or chapters. Field Investigator: Conducting primary door-to-door surveys, interviews, and focused group discussions in the designated field areas. Coordinating with local authorities for field visits and ensuring the accuracy of raw data collected. Assisting the PI in organizing seminars or workshops related to the project findings. Job Type: Temporary / Contractual (For the duration of the project, approx. 6-12 months). Selection Process: * Walk-in Interview Assessment of Research Publications (for RA) Document Verification.
For Research Associate: Post Graduate in any Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks and NET/SLET/M.Phil/Ph.D. For Field Investigator: Post Graduate in any Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks. Strong command over English and Hindi (for field communication and report writing). Previous experience in handling research projects or field surveys is highly preferred. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) and basic statistical tools. Age limit: As per University of Delhi and ICSSR guidelines.
