National Book Trust (NBT), India, is looking for a creative and digitally-savvy Young Professional to manage its social media presence. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for building NBT’s brand voice across various platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), promoting book releases, and engaging with the literary community. This role involves creating viral content for book fairs and managing the digital footprint of one of India's oldest publishing houses. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Creating and scheduling daily engaging content (Posts, Reels, Threads) for all social media platforms. Live coverage of NBT events, including the New Delhi World Book Fair and regional literary festivals. Designing basic graphics and editing short videos/reels to promote authors and new book launches. Monitoring social media trends and analytics to improve audience engagement and follower growth. Responding to queries and engaging with the audience to build a strong online community. Coordinating with the editorial team to highlight diverse book categories and languages. Job Type: Contractual (Initially for 6 months to 1 year, extendable based on performance). Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising, or Digital Marketing. Proven experience in managing professional social media handles (Portfolio/Links required). Proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or Photoshop and video editing apps. Strong copywriting skills in both English and Hindi. Deep understanding of social media algorithms, SEO, and hashtag strategies. Ability to work under tight deadlines during major events and book fairs.
