AIIMS Gorakhpur is conducting a Walk-in Interview for the post of Ethics Committee Coordinator on a contractual basis. The coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative functions of the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC), ensuring that all research proposals submitted by faculty and students comply with ICMR ethical guidelines. This role involves documentation, scheduling committee meetings, and maintaining records of research approvals. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Managing the submission and initial screening of research protocols for ethical clearance. Organizing and coordinating periodic meetings of the Institutional Ethics Committee. Maintaining detailed minutes of meetings and ensuring timely communication of the committee's decisions to investigators. Ensuring compliance with ICMR and CDSCO guidelines for clinical trials and human research. Archiving and managing the database of approved, ongoing, and completed research projects. Job Type: Contractual (Initially for 12 months, extendable based on performance). Selection Process: * Walk-in Interview Document Verification.
Graduate in Science / Life Sciences / Pharmacy or equivalent from a recognized University. Preference: Candidates with a Post Graduate degree or Diploma in Clinical Research / Bio-ethics. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in handling Ethics Committee work or Clinical Research coordination. Proficiency in handling MS Office (Excel/Word) and digital documentation. Strong communication skills to interact with medical professionals and committee members. Age limit: Maximum 35 years (Relaxation as per AIIMS/Govt. of India norms).
