Job Description

National e-Governance Division (NeGD) invites online applications for the posts of Project Manager and Procurement Specialist on a contractual basis. NeGD is the nodal agency for implementing the "Digital India" vision. The selected professionals will manage large-scale IT projects, oversee the procurement of hardware/software services, and ensure that digital transformation initiatives are delivered on time. This is a high-impact role involving coordination with various government ministries and industry partners. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Project Manager: Leading the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance. Procurement Specialist: Managing the end-to-end procurement process, drafting Request for Proposals (RFPs), and conducting technical evaluations of tenders. Monitoring project timelines, managing risks, and ensuring quality assurance in software delivery. Liaising with government stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth project implementation. Preparing detailed project reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management in MeitY. Job Type: Contractual (Initially for 2 years, extendable based on project needs and performance). Selection Process: * Shortlisting based on Qualification/Experience Personal Interview (Technical & HR).

Requirements

For Project Manager: B.E./B.Tech or MCA with at least 5–8 years of experience in IT Project Management. For Procurement Specialist: MBA or Post Graduation with experience in Government Procurement and GFR rules. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Experience in drafting RFPs, MSAs, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills are essential. Age limit: Maximum 45 to 50 years (Check official notification for exact post-wise limit).
