Ambedkar Nagar Hospital, under the Government of NCT of Delhi, is conducting a Walk-in Interview for the post of Junior Resident (MBBS) on an ad-hoc/contractual basis. This role is designed for fresh MBBS graduates to gain hands-on clinical experience in a busy government hospital setting. Junior Residents are responsible for the initial assessment of patients, managing ward duties, and assisting Senior Residents and Consultants in the OPD and Emergency departments. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Performing initial clinical examinations and maintaining detailed patient history records. Managing routine ward duties and monitoring stable as well as critical patients. Attending to patients in the Casualty/Emergency department under supervision. Assisting in diagnostic procedures and coordinating with the laboratory/radiology departments. Ensuring timely documentation of discharge summaries and daily progress notes. Job Type: Ad-hoc (Usually for 89 days, extendable based on performance and vacancy). Selection Process: * Walk-in Interview Document Verification.
Candidate must have an MBBS degree from a recognized University/Institute. Completion of a compulsory rotatory internship is mandatory. Valid Registration with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) is essential (or proof of having applied for it). Candidates who have already completed one year of Junior Residency in any government hospital are generally not eligible. Internship must have been completed within the last 2 years from the date of interview. Age limit: Maximum 30 to 35 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Delhi Govt. rules).
