Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital (AAAGH), under the Government of NCT of Delhi, is conducting a Walk-in Interview for 01 post of Senior Resident on an ad-hoc basis. The role is intended for specialized medical professionals to manage clinical duties, attend to emergencies, and assist in the smooth functioning of the concerned department. This is a temporary position but offers excellent exposure to the public healthcare system of the national capital. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Managing specialized OPD clinics and providing expert care to indoor patients (IPD). Performing or assisting in surgeries and diagnostic procedures as per the specialty. Attending to emergency calls and supervising the work of Junior Residents. Ensuring proper documentation of patient records and compliance with hospital protocols. Participating in academic activities and training of paramedical staff. Job Type: Ad-hoc / Contractual (Initially for 89 days, extendable as per requirement). Selection Process: * Walk-in Interview Document Verification.
Candidate must have an MBBS degree from a recognized University/Institute. Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/Diploma) in the concerned specialty. Valid Registration with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) is mandatory. Must not have completed 03 years of Senior Residency in any government hospital before. Strong commitment to patient care and ability to work in shifts. Age limit: Maximum 45 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Delhi Govt. rules).
