North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Ltd. (NERAMAC) invites online applications for the post of Cluster Development Executive. The primary goal of this role is to implement and manage agricultural/horticultural clusters under various government schemes (like SFURTI or PMFME). The executive acts as a bridge between the farmers' groups (FPOs) and the corporation, ensuring that processing units are set up and products are marketed efficiently from the North-East to the rest of India. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Cluster Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned agricultural or artisanal clusters. FPO Coordination: Mobilizing farmers and helping in the formation and strengthening of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). Supply Chain: Ensuring smooth procurement of raw materials from farmers and coordinating the logistics for finished products. Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of cluster progress and submitting periodic reports to NERAMAC headquarters. Training: Organizing workshops and training sessions for farmers on quality standards and modern marketing techniques. Job Type: Contractual (Initially for 1 year, extendable based on project performance). Selection Process: * Shortlisting based on qualification Personal Interview.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agribusiness Management / Social Work or Rural Development. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in rural development projects or cluster management. Strong understanding of the North-Eastern region's agricultural landscape and local languages. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word) for data management and reporting. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with rural communities and government officials. Age limit: Maximum 35 to 40 years (Relaxation as per NERAMAC norms).
