This role is pivotal in shaping the judicial mindsets of newly recruited Civil Judges and District Judges. The faculty member is responsible for designing the curriculum, delivering lectures on complex legal subjects, and conducting mock trials. It is a position of great respect that bridges the gap between academic law and courtroom practice. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Training Leadership: Designing and executing comprehensive training modules for judicial officers and court staff. Lecturing: Delivering high-impact lectures on Constitutional Law, CrPC, CPC, Evidence Act, and latest legal reforms. Curriculum Design: Updating the academy’s syllabus to include recent landmark judgments and legislative changes. Mentorship: Providing guidance and mentorship to Assistant Research Scholars and trainee judges. Judicial Research: Overseeing the publication of the Academy's law journals and research monographs. Job Type: Contractual / Deputation (Typically for 1 to 3 years). Selection Process: 1. Scrutiny of Experience and Research Profile. 2. Personal Interview / Interaction with the Search Committee (usually headed by High Court Judges).
Qualification: Master of Laws (LL.M.) from a recognized University, preferably with a PhD in Law. Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of experience in legal teaching at a University/College OR service as a retired Senior Judicial Officer (District Judge or above). Deep understanding of both Civil and Criminal Jurisprudence. Proven track record of legal publications or experience in judicial training. Excellent oratorical and drafting skills in both English and Hindi. Age limit: Maximum 62 to 65 years (Specifically for retired officers or senior academicians).
