Patient Care: Managing OPDs, IPDs, and performing specialized surgeries/procedures in the respective department. Research: Leading clinical trials, publishing research papers in indexed journals, and guiding thesis work. Administration: Assisting the Head of Department (HOD) in departmental management and exam conduction. Emergency Services: Handling emergency medical duties and specialized consultations.
Basic Qualification: A basic University medical qualification (MBBS) included in the NMC Act. Post Graduate Qualification: MD / MS / DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized board/university. Experience: Minimum 03 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized medical college as Senior Resident / Tutor / Demonstrator after PG. Valid Registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council. Proven track record of research publications as per NMC norms for faculty appointments. Age limit: Maximum 50 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and Govt. servants as per Chandigarh Admin rules).
