Delhi District e-Governance Society (DDEGS) invites offline applications for the post of Research (Lab) Assistant. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day technical operations of the AI/e-Governance Research Lab. This includes setting up hardware for AI experiments, assisting the AI Trainer in workshops, maintaining datasets, and ensuring that all software environments (like Python/Cuda) are properly configured for research activities. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Lab Management: Setting up and maintaining computers, servers, and GPUs for AI/ML research. Technical Assistance: Assisting the AI Trainer and research scholars in executing coding scripts and managing data pipelines. Environment Configuration: Installing and updating Python libraries, IDEs (VS Code, Jupyter), and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). Data Handling: Managing large datasets, performing data cleaning, and assisting in basic data visualization tasks. Troubleshooting: Resolving hardware and software issues within the lab to ensure uninterrupted research activities. Job Type: Contractual (Usually for 1 year). Selection Process: 1. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc IT) from a recognized university. Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu environment and basic command-line operations. Basic knowledge of Python programming and data structures. Understanding of computer networking and hardware maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies. Age limit: Maximum 30 years (Relaxation as per Delhi Govt rules).
