Engineering
Within the Engineering department, you will supervise the maintenance of mechanical utilities, including HVAC systems, water pumps, and lift operations. Your role is to ensure proactive repairs and coordinate with technical vendors to maintain the functionality of the university campus infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Supervising the operation and maintenance of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems and central cooling plants. Managing the university’s water supply systems, including pumps, motors, and plumbing networks. Overseeing the routine inspection and maintenance of lifts, escalators, and fire-fighting equipment. Coordinating with technical vendors and contractors for repairs and new mechanical installations. Preparing technical estimates, tender documents, and maintaining inventory of mechanical spare parts. Ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and energy-efficient practices across all mechanical systems. Selection Process: 1. Shortlisting of applications based on eligibility. 2. Written Test / Skill Test. 3. Personal Interview.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 1st Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 3 years experience for degree holders or 5 years for diploma holders. Experience in maintenance of pumps, motors, and mechanical plants. Application to be sent via email to recruitment@nalandauniv.edu.in.
