Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, invites online applications for the post of Research Associate. This position is purely temporary and on a contractual basis under a sponsored research project. The selected candidate will lead high-level research activities, manage lab resources, and contribute to the development of innovative technologies. It is an ideal role for Ph.D. holders looking to gain experience in a premier Indian academic and research environment. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Advanced Research: Designing and implementing complex research methodologies related to the project. Team Leadership: Supervising JRFs/SRFs and project assistants in the lab. Scientific Writing: Drafting high-quality research papers for publication in peer-reviewed international journals. Project Management: Assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) in preparing progress reports and technical presentations. Data Interpretation: Analyzing experimental data using advanced computational or analytical tools.
Qualification: Ph.D. / MD / MS / MDS or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline. Alternative: Candidates with 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after M.Sc/M.E./M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Proven expertise in specialized research tools or software (like Python, MATLAB, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. Age limit: Maximum 35 to 40 years (Relaxation as per Govt. of India / IIT Delhi norms).
