Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore, invites online applications for the post of Assistant Coordinator. This position is on a purely contractual basis to support the administrative and coordination activities of the institute. The role involves managing office records, coordinating between different departments, and assisting in the smooth execution of academic or research programs. It’s a great role for those who are good at multitasking and office management. 🔬 Key Responsibilities Coordination: Acting as a bridge between the faculty, students, and administration for various institutional activities. Event Management: Assisting in the organization of seminars, workshops, and student orientation programs. Record Keeping: Maintaining digital and physical files, databases, and official correspondence. Scheduling: Managing calendars, meeting rooms, and travel arrangements for department officials. Report Generation: Preparing periodic status reports and minutes of meetings for the higher management.
Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Prior experience in administrative or coordinator roles, preferably in an educational or research institute. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and Google Workspace tools. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Age limit: Maximum 30 to 35 years (Relaxation as per Govt. of India / IIT Indore norms) Job Type: Contractual (Initially for 11 months or 1 year, extendable based on requirement).
