Redhakhol Forest Division has released a recruitment notification for Civil Engineer posts on a contractual basis for project and infrastructure development works. The selected candidate will work on forest-related infrastructure projects such as eco-tourism facilities, roads, buildings, and water conservation structures. The role involves planning, designing, and supervising civil engineering works in forest areas. Candidates will be responsible for preparing project estimates, technical reports, and ensuring proper execution of construction activities. The job requires field visits, coordination with contractors, and monitoring of project progress. Engineers will also ensure quality control, safety standards, and adherence to government norms. This position offers practical exposure to government infrastructure projects in environmental and rural development sectors. The job is temporary (around 1 year, extendable) based on performance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare estimates and project plans for civil infrastructure works Supervise construction of roads, buildings, eco-tourism structures, and water bodies Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress Ensure quality of materials and construction work Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and department officials Prepare DPRs, reports, and technical documentation Ensure work is executed as per approved designs and standards Monitor timelines and ensure timely completion of projects Solve technical issues during construction activities Maintain records and submit progress reports regularly
